In class lessons

The two specific that were discussed in class which I felt were very important to me were sexual assault and drinking.
There were some interesting points that were given in case you’re self or someone you know has been involved in a sexual assault. The first one was to seek help. You can get help on campus. You can also seek any of the church leaders to talk to, and please note that anything that is discussed will be kept confidential unless you are under the age of 18. There are 24 hour services available on campus to discuss any type of situations. If you don’t feel comfortable discussing your situation to anyone on campus, you can be referred to someone that can help you off campus. Same goes for any drinking incidents that come up in your life.
It was mentioned that drinking is everywhere in this world, and believe or not it happens at Azusa Pacific University. There are situations were students can get themselves up because they are so drunk. If this happens you should always help them, never let them past you by. You never know, you could be the one that saved their life from something bad happening in the future. If you have any drinking problems or addictions, again there are services on campus that can help you, advise you, and guide you.
